10C: Elevator Pitch #1

Hey everyone!

This is my elevator pitch for implementing a new grading policy at the University of Florida!

  1. Hi Sara,
I love your enthusiasm in this pitch! You are clearly passionate about your subject and did not need a script in the slightest. It was also right on the dot with the time constraint. It was persuasive to viewers to include your own connection and story to the project in there. It might be even more persuasive if you included statistics on grades at UF.

  2. Sara,

I enjoyed viewing your pitch! I really liked how informative your pitch was, as you did a great job in maintaining a tone of voice while also getting your message across. You are really good at grasping the attention of the audience. After looking at your pitch, it definitely made me think about the ways I could’ve recorded my pitch differently.

  3. Hi Sara,

That was very an interesting pitch that everyone can relate to if you are a university student. Maybe I'm just not informed enough about the inner workings of the national grading system. But I'm not sure how the audience or potential investors know about the solution to this problem. Maybe, that's something to consider next time. Because, after all, investors are there for one reason only and that is how they can make money.

  4. I appreciated your pitch Sara, it was well thought out and your message was clear. Your enthusiasm was on point and had me into your discussion from the first sentence! Your passion is also clear and your position is well argued. I think Universities get a little too caught up in grades as well when it comes to many student's circumstances.
